Waterfield’s team of engineers is able to apply technical expertise on a wide spectrum of applications. We are not only well versed with pumps but also have good understanding of other equipment and peripherals associated with the pumping systems. Our team is specially trained to solving pump problems of various complexities, whether it involves a new installation, upgrade of an existing installation, or designing pumping systems that meet stringent requirements.
To maintain confidence in the quality of our work, we are able to provide:
Computer-aided mechanical design
Pipe flow analysis
Computational fluid dynamics simulation (CFD)
Special field performance tools
Process and system simulations
Waterfield’s pump service facility is one of the best equipped in the country. Sited on a covered floor space of 14,000 sq ft., it houses:
Pump test rig
5 ton overhead travelling crane
Milling and drilling machine
Laser alignment equipment
Portable flow meter
Sound pressure meter
A wide range of cutting tools and more
Our vast experience in pumps coupled with state-of-the-art equipment make Waterfield second to none in predictive maintenance services.
Waterfield houses a pump testing facility capable of measuring flow up to 1,000 m3/hr at 16 bars for motor power up to 200 KW*. It is qualified to conduct certified performance tests. The accuracy of the flow is measured via a magnetic flow meter. Customers can have their pumps tested for conformance, and having the option of witnessing the procedure at our test facility along with a third party.
*A generating set can be considered for larger power consumption
Waterfield has a dedicated service team, well trained in pump maintenance and repair. We are able to carry out assessments both on-site and off-site on all the pumps we supply.
We recognize that it is intolerable for any temporary shut down due to pump failure on-site. Therefore at Waterfield, we keep an organised inventory of standard spare parts and maintenance kit for urgent delivery and emergencies.
In support of our total solution services, we are able to offer quality welding and assembly services over a broad range of applications – including special request on fully customized engineering systems.
At Waterfield we are recognised for our ability to provide high standard documentations. We ensure the provision of detailed listings and stringent screenings on our Vendor Document Requirement List along with all other necessary documentations to meet customer’s requests and industry standards.
With years of pumping experience, Waterfield believes that there is still room for product improvement. In January 2010, a Research and Development department was formed. It is an initiative to further improve on existing pumps and its energy efficiency. Additionally, we do too explore the possibility of creating new and innovative products to better serve related industries.
The department’s primary focus is to:
Design new pumps with better efficiency
Improve the hydraulic and efficiency of existing pump
